- @libav.js/variant-fat 4.10.6: FFmpeg/libav decoder (LGPL-2.1-or-later and bundled component licenses), https://github.com/Yahweasel/libav.js. The distributed factory includes full license notices.

The shipped decoder is FFmpeg/libav, not FAAD2. Only MP4 timing helper code is retained from decode-aac. The custom FAAD build was an unsuccessful prototype and is not deployed.

The build script externalizes embedded WASM as statically imported modules for the Workers runtime. Codec sources are unmodified apart from host loading. Prototype attempts and compatibility adjustments are recorded in the QA report. Preserve vendor license texts with source delivery.
